I'm both sad and disappointed that the birthday party for the babies didn't work out. I'm mad that my dad didn't seem to care, actually seemed happy about it. My brother never bothered to call me back and my mom, where do I start with my mom. She claims she was never putting the friend's birthday party over the babies party. She didn't realize their party was such a big deal and that she was just trying to make everyone happy. Give me a break!
Some times I just want to scream SUCK IT. To people. That makes me laugh to say that!
Anyway, even though we aren't having a party for them I did do an invite. Here's the modified version without the time/date and contact info. I thought it was cute. Love my boys!

I am sorry there has been any disappointment surrounding the Nathan and Wesley's birthday! BUT, I think you handled in such a way to create the environment you want for you and your boys! So have fun and enjoy! I know you will!
Love the invitation!

Wow I can't believe your boys are going to be one already. The time sure does fly doesn't it. You are such a good mommy. Don't let anyone ruin this day because even though it is Nathan and Wesley's birthday, it is also your Birth day! Congrats on your beautiful family.

I still contend that your mom and mine are related. The issue she/my mom doesn't hear is that EVEN her not seeing WHY our children's milestones ar "such a big issue" to you is a really sad thing. THESE are our mothers. THEY are supposed to get it. They don't. Sadly, what we eventually adjust is that we're surprised when they care the way the should if they were the mothers we want them to be. They won't be and we need to lower our expectations. That alone makes me sad, but keeps me sane.
Separate from that, LOVE the invite and they will always have that for their own "memory" of their first. Enjoy your family and hug them all for me!
