I'm having a crappy ass day. Seriously crappy. I won't go into great detail, but it does involve my mom, my dad and my grandma (mom's mom). Really, I've had enough. It's to the point that I've begun to wonder if it's me, not them. I mean I am the common denominator. My hubby doesn't think it's me. He did tell me I need to not give my father advice. So I will take my hubby's advice and not give dad any. That should help things a bit, with him. The other two are a lost cause!
I had a great chuckle today when a friend told me about this site: Daughters of Narcissistic Mothers. Oh my gosh. I can not believe how much my mom fit's some of the characteristics description to a "T". I mean it's down right scary!
The icing on the cake today ... I decided to just get out of the house, away from the computer ( and the emails from clients that were pissing me off) and the phone (from family members calling and pissing me off). So I took a walk, looking like I was drug behind a tractor for 40 yards. With two dirty-faced babies, Jake in non-matching clothes and Grace. As we turn the corner headed for home, this gorgeous thin woman standing next to a car starts waving and yelling, "Oh my gosh it's Jake". It was a mom from his school. The gorgeous, thin, always put together, always involved in the school function mom. Sigh, it was just too much. I was so embarrassed by how crappy me and the kids looked. Evidently they are looking for houses in our neighborhood. If they move here I'd be forced to clean up a bit more before walks!

No I call that a mom that just has WAY too much time on her hands...and well you would be the mom I would want to walk with and talk about all the mom's like her! LOL! It's an accomplishment when I leave the house with make-up on and not putting it on once I pull into work (after I have put the car in park!).
Sorry for the crap-ola of a day! Hope tomorrow gets better!

Oh, I'm sorry you had a crappy day.
I don't know what to say about the family stuff, except it just can't be all you, and the only thing you can probably control is how much you let it effect you.
I'm also sure that ANYONE taking care of twins and a toddler will have crappy days. Don't be too hard on yourself.
I kind of think you are a rock star for juggling it all. Seriously, you've got your hands full.
Hoping some relaxation/pampering is in your near future, even if it's just going out to get your hair dided. :) Hugs.
